FBL added one more feather to its Combined & Total Logistics Hat by successfully executing a break bulk shipment from Litovel, Czech Republic to Mumbai, India.The shipment containing one Lathe Machine and a Horizontal milling & boring Machine had to be moved from Litovel to Mumbai. The shipment comprising of 2 pallets and 5 wooden boxes, with one of the wooden box ad measuring 15 Metres in length and with a single lift of 35 Metric Tonnes mandated the shipment to be moved in break bulk by conventional vessel. FBL,with its excellent and dynamic ODC & Projects Team in Gujarat, headed by Mr Siddarth Dave, rose to the demand of the client by partnering with our esteemed agent M/s Spark Global Logistics, Belgium. The entire operation of Loading @ Litovel, Transportation from Litovel to the port of Antwerpen and Transferring onto the vessel at the port of Antwerp, was planned meticulously by Spark and FBL Teams in consultation with the Loading Site and the buyer for efficient resource utilisation and optimisation of costs at all levels, rendering a competitive and affordable logistics solution.
The plan was executed to perfection, with all the necessary cranes, trucks and fork lifts arranged at loading site in Litovel for shipment to be loaded onto trucks and onward transportation to the port of Antwerp. As per schedule the trucks were loaded and departed Litovel to reach Antwerp. The shipment went onboard the vessel Adam Asnyk Voy 050, sailed the port of Antwerp on June 10, 2020 with the excellent team work of FBL & Spark teams. The shipment arrived at the port of Mumbai on July 7, 2020 and were successfully delivered onto trucks arranged by importer: JMC Papertech Pvt Ltd.
